The Elf-O-Matic are offered a selection of high quality locally produced items packaged in a whimsical Elf-O-Matic Gift Bag which featured yummy holiday treats from local businesses including: Cacao Cuveé, Rockford Roasting Company, and The Norwegian!

COVID-19 SAFETY

WSSR created a fun family holiday experience with a short live performance that was also COVID-19 friendly. The entire experience lasted approximately 10 minutes. Here’s how it worked:

ONE QUARANTINE POD AT A TIME

Patrons picked a time slot and arrived a little early to check in. Some waited in nice warm cars until it was their turn, then entered the WSSR. Each pod of up to 8 people were the only ones in each room.

SAFETY SANTA

Safety Santa appeared inside a vintage-style arcade box similar to the Zoltar fortune teller machine from the movie Big with Tom Hanks. The window was covered with plexiglas. When patrons pushed a doorbell on the box, the curtain opened and Santa appeared. Kids and adults were able to communicate with Santa using an intercom , tell him what they wanted for Christmas, and take photos. Then their pod moved to the theater to get gift bags from the Elf-O-Matic

THE ELF-O-MATIC VENDING MACHINE

Inside the Black Box we built a Christmas Vending Machine with three glowing buttons. Patrons choose from one of three different Christmas carols for Nutlog The Elf to sing: Deck The Halls, Jingle Bells, or Let It Snow. When the performance, Nutlog dispensed the gifts through a slot in the machine.

EXIT TO MAIN STREET

After patrons received their gifts, they exited to Main Street in order to not cross paths with the other patrons rising Safety Santa.
