In 2014 The West Side Show Room presented SCENEscene, an all-day cabaret of short performances by local artists. SCENEscene was planned as a part of The Rockford Area Arts Council’s ArtScene, a free event inviting art-lovers to galleries and studios all over the city to enjoy new exhibits of original worksThe cabaret featured short plays, storytellers, music, stand up comedy, and a stage combat demonstration, as well as an opportunity to meet the artists and learn about the theater.  Each day’s events culminated with a performance of a West Side Show Room play.
